    He has already anounced it will be devastating news for BCFC. I don't know what time in the AM he will post, but I have it on very good authority that Nicky Maynard is finished and is retiring on medical grounds.
    After 3 surgical proceedures, the synovial capsule swells with fluid after very little running, making turning impossible.
    I hope I am wrong but a buddy of mine in the states (where Maynard went for a last 'hail-mary') confirmed this to me in a phone call.

    It coul be that jon stead is out for at least 2 months its something i read on otib!

    Jon would be an inconvenience.....Nicky would be a ****ing disaster.
    Never had cause to doubt him before, he's an Orthopaedic Registrar. Lets hope he's got the wrong bloke or something..........

    Yeah you can run in a straight line apparently but its the quick 'turn' that blows the knee up again.
    I hope Im wrong but who else knew that NM had gone to the states?

    Yeah that will be correct he wont be turning on it til its its all working smooth, hence why hes training on his own the main thing though is he is still training and hes not blown his knee unfortunately thsethings cannot be rushed!
