In terms of entrance cost to watch the match , do we ? I am not talking about beer or pie costs , nor shirt prices etc, just the football. Remember we pay to watch two teams playing. So straight away I accept we should pay more than if we were in a lower league. But we do not see Man. Utd. every week , so we should not have to pay as much as their fans do , for example. I am not saying we do. But in the scale of things , do we get a fair deal ? Take Swansea , do we pay a lot less than them ? Perhaps our problem is that Coates reckons we are getting what we pay for. In that case I would urge our supporters club and anyone else with muscle to persuade Coates to raise admission fees considerably , and then give us what we are paying for.
You mean report Mr Coates and T.P. to the " Trading Standards Department".. It's worth a thought though, a good post this Kickabow. Would I pay e.g. 40 quid a week to watch Utd? No way because I can't afford to and also because IMO it's not worth it. SKY have caused this problem... Clubs are now able to pay ridiculous wages which is wrong IMHO. Sadly, it's all about (money and nothing else matters) which is WHY Pulis keeps banging on about staying up! He does not give a HOOT what the football is like to watch because it's a business now and big bucks are there for the Prem clubs.
