I understand that Jon has gone on a sudden holiday (for a week) and will not be able to post, on here, during that period. The weather is sunny and I hope he has a nice time. On his return I will have a private word with him to see if he intends to book any further holidays. AllHell
Something like that Tweaks He was asked very nicely to control himself (I was sent a copy of the request) but he decided to carry on as normal. I just can't understand him at all? Not something I ever expected to happen on here, we'll see what happens on his return.

What about the Acworth that has presented himself on here? The language is very similar to that of A2C - minus the mockney-isms. Obviously you have an insight, SuperC, so I shall bow to your judgement.
I agree, SC - behind all the garbage with A2C, IMO there was a keen mind working. Mind you, he did disguise that fact awfully well at times, especially on the subject of firemen.
Ackworth- for all his annoyance, is a CAFC fan and a real figure. Been on the circuit for years. A2C- hate to guess whether he is real or not, but I know Ackworth isn't up to creating a pseudo personality to that extreme.

Afrojaxx isn't Acworth is he...? Coincidence that a new poster has appeared with similar spelling and punctuation to Acworth, except in teen form. Apologies to Afrojaxx if I'm completely wide of the mark on this one...
OK, think that this should be an Acworth-amnesty week. There's one rule... no talking about Acworth until his return... let's face it, we have plenty of other topics of conversation this week... 15 of them at last count!
This new guy seems to be annoying many others on Not606. Some of the remarks about Charlton have been uncalled for - even if a so-called Charlton fan is posting a load of nonsense. I went and had a look at the General Chat and some of the posts on there are littered with profanities and obscene comments. I am no shrinking-violet, but I will stick to the Charlton threads - although, if Afrojaxx and the other one continue to ruin things I may have to consider my options. I do hope not.
Had that sudden realisation when I was out on my bike just now, Sir John. Must have been the rush of cool air round my work-addled brain. And to think I gave him a posting tip to stop him being ridiculed. Leaves a bad taste when you're wummed by one of your own (I use that phrase in it's loosest possible sense). This is starting to get very silly and for me, it's beginning to detract from what should be a 100% focus on the start of the season.
It's a blocking device Ponders. Go to 'Control Panel' Look down the left hand side to 'My Settings', 'My Account' Last option is 'Edit Ignore List' A box will come up and you enter the miscreant's monicker in it - or just type Acworth and a bloody great list comes up... Click the Ok box and he goes away. All his posts are blocked on your profile and all his threads are inaccessible. Very useful.
