    If i were someone looking to take over the club, something has just been added to the conditional liabilities. I just hope that Slater and jiminez have been shrewd enough to disclose this fully in advance and it doesnt take either bidder by surprise.

    I think from what I have heard is that the board actually supported the application. In truth, it was always likely to succeed, as it has in all cases involving football grounds, local authorities will never challenge something that is not an immediate litigation risk as they have a duty to protect the public purse.

    The application is common knowledge and rather like buying a house, this will be on the legal documents and it won't be missed, particularly by yank lawyers on £400 per hour.

    The only worrying part of it, is the trusts real intention of consulting the fans. Should AcT need to be invoked What fans will the trust be asking?
