Flash news in Turkey now, it is everywhere all news outlets entered as headline, and to be honest he fueled it after his claims against Galatasaray on same subject couple of weeks ago, now Galatasaray fans will roast him, good luck Acun dealing with millions of people. Previously his TV channels were charged for advertising illegal betting and this time prosecutors added him to the bill also, including companies. You shouldn't throw stones while you are living in glass house, perfect example. He thought his parliament member uncle and good ties with Erdogan will gave him immunity from almost everything, but public backlash was extremely huge and hard to ignore even for Erdogan. Another red flag for us, I wrote couple of weeks ago that Acun era is ending together with ruling party in Turkey, these kind of things proves my suspicion. It was written on the wall since he was member of two different cults that are considered terrorist organization now in Turkey, one staged a coup, other one accused of espionage, sexual abuse against women and minors. At this point I really support an owner change, hope someone more clean can buy us soon. This is not gonna end well, he might save himself from this one and that's probably what will happen, no further investigation, but what will be the next one? What will happen if government change, Acun Medya indirectly Hull might even be confiscated by new government, do we even have protection against that? I don't think Fener people understand demographics of Turkey now, literally half of country is Gala fan now, it is amazing how they reached to top status from 3rd place for fan base in a very short period of 30 years. European success, Hagi, Sneijder, Drogba and lately Icardi literally turned new generations into Gala fans. This will harm Acun's TV business too. It all started with below tweets last night, you can even see reporter mentioning Galatasaray deal.
FOR ****S SAKE LIAM,I SAID I'D BACKED THE DRAW,NOT,"NOT TO SCORE"-AGAINST PLYMOUTH...CLEAR YOUR DESK!!!
That was yesterday after backlash during the game, prosecutor opened investigation today, he did not respond to it yet. Problem is his statement is not correct, you can find reason below his tweet. It is possible to change advertising panel during broadcasting, which he did in the past, changed regular panels to betting advert, and punished for it, he could just do the opposite:
Translation. Let's say it once more for those who insist on not understanding, do not want to understand or want to create perception. The sale of billboards for matches played abroad belongs to the federation of the host country. Just as the sale of billboards for national matches played in Turkey belongs to the Turkish Football Federation, the sale of the on-field billboards for the Montenegro-Turkey match was made by the Montenegro Football Federation. TV8 has no connection or involvement with any aspect of this incident.
Those photos aren't screenshots from a broadcast. Have a look at the number of red shirted players around the guy on the deck. One image has 3, the other 2. They're not evidence of anything.
He is officially charged after this incident, his channels paid fine 457K try, roughly 20K pounds as a symbolic amount. Moreover if I remember well, broadcasting of the game stopped for a while, on live TV. I don't know what to say about you, I came with proof but you always have something to defend Acun, even Acun himself didn't move case to court after punishment. https://www.evrensel.net/haber/447226/tv8e-yasa-disi-bahis-reklamlarindan-dolayi-457-bin-tl-ceza-verildi#:~:text=Reklam Kurulu Acun Ilıcalı'nın,TL tutarında para cezası kesti. There is an official statement in above link: As a result of the investigations conducted, it was evaluated that during the match; for 26 minutes from the start of the match, advertisements of illegal betting companies of domestic and foreign origin were digitally placed on the advertising stands located on the field and next to the goal in the stadium and were constantly visible on the screen, advertisements of illegal betting sites are clearly prohibited according to the legislation, the aforementioned digital advertisements arouse the curiosity of football watching consumers and encourage the audience to participate in live betting and gamble, and these advertisements are of a nature that may lead the audience to turn to illegal betting sites that are very common in the internet environment. Regarding the advertiser TV8 TV Yayıncılık A.Ş., Articles 63 and 77 of Law No. 6502
457k try roughly 20k pounds, I have a 500k Turkish banknote, yours for 5k pounds, bargain? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Haha that's probably before they dropped zeros from banknotes. Somewhere in 2005 or 2006, 1 million TRY converted to 1 TRY. I remember well because when I visited back in those days I had banknotes with millions from my previous visit, I was bummed when exchange office do not accept it, should have converted before they dropped 0's.
Yeah, fairly sure at the time we visited it was around three and a half million to the pound. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Everything else is the the same. Angles of bodies and everything. Are you saying one person moved and no one else in half a second? So no it's not half a second difference. Everything else was exact, it's a doctored image. I do note you posted this after the images were no longer viewable though, conveniently enough, numbnuts.
I'm disputing the 2 images you showed - one player had completely disappeared from the frame and the ad boards had too. I'm not commenting on whether he is guilty of manipulating advertising, I am just saying those images have been doctored beyond just the advertising boards in a way that wouldn't have been possible at the time of broadcast.
