I am at a loss at the thinking of our manager, the one with the proven track record, regarding his team selection, formation and incoming/outgoing transfers.

Why did he bring in Danny Graham and let Frazier and Connor leave? Surely the most stupid decision he has made since joining our great club!

Why did he play 4-5-1 for almost 90% of our season, knowing Fletch was struggling up front to get away from the 3 or 4 defenders marking him, plus having no wingers to supply him crosses for his main stregth his heading ability?

And finally why does he constantly play Gardener as a RB, when he is a decent CM player?

Don't get me started on Cuellar, Saha and McFadden

As previously stated in November, we are the worst football team in the EPL, or maybe I should say for all those that will say (that we are sixth from bottom, meaning that surely 5 teams are worse than us), how about this then, we play the worst style of football in the EPL, is that better?

We have a manager than is totally clueless as a Modern day manager. This has been evident since before Xmas, yet many on here just followed blindly saying all will be fine. Well now most are saying we are in a total mess, and nothing less than a win against Norwich, will do.

I ask you all this one final question, why does it always happen to Sunderland? We build our hopes up each season and come down to earth with a thud as the season unfolds.

This has by far been one of the most stressful seasons for all us supporters I believe. With high hopes of a top half finish, a top class manager, a billionaire owner, we have been humiliated this season, with losses to Championship teams in both cups, and some abysmal performances in the Premier League.

I personally hope MoN leaves or is sacked, he has proven by his tactics, style and transfers that he is not the right man for Sunderland FC. I would love to see DiCanio or Martinez come here, at least we will see attacking football.

Just some of my thoughts so far on a truly disappointing season!

    You are the biggest one!

You are hardly known on this site, yet come on all high and mighty about something that was said 5 months back and nobody has a clue what the **** you are talking about. You have no credibility or respect that some posters have and like Marcus has already stated, you need to grow up <ok>

Bit harsh like, for me you should show the same respect to all posters whether they have 1 post or 10,000 (excluding the wums), it doesn't matter how 'well known you are'.

Agree, and generally that happens on this board. He has come on though with an attitude to have a go at some people and a fact of life is, if you are known and respected, then you will be giving benefits of doubt from time to time. To come from nowhere the way this poster has, then basically, **** him <ok>

You are a top poster on this site mate and am surprised by this out burst. I think his attitude was meant to come across in a jokey sort of way. Sadly he did not do a good job of conveying that.

This, a lot gets lost in translation over the internet, no harm done though.

80% of conversation is done through body language. This is where internet forums lose their "credibility"

    Cheers mate appreciate the comment.

All I did was start a thread, then get no respect from some fellow Sunderland fans, unfortunately some of the members on this site are of a very low standard.

Maybe they just dont like Australians?

Not too sure of the meaning of this? So I get the impression that if you are not a regular contributor to this site, then a new member is not welcome?

would hate us to go down, but part of me is hoping we do, just to prove to those ignorant twats early in the season that they were wrong.

after another loss part of me wants to get on the Sunderland AFC Banter Page or Sunderland AFC site and gloat about how bad we are.

I am glad I don't waste my money on watching our boring and negative football. I spend my money watching a far better game of sport over here called AFL, Australian Rules Football.

These are some of his comments so far today (read the moderators thread to see how he announced himself to everybody out of the blue), and with comments like these, why should he be taking seriously?

Their called opinions, I will call a spade a spade, thats how I operate. Obviously gloating over another loss may not have been the right phrase, I don't like it when we lose, but I also don't like the way MoN makes us play negative football, we have played Fletch up front all season and been very lucky in some games to grab a point or a win.

I just expect more from these players and manager that are paid huge sums of money to perform for our club, yet produce displays with little effort or passion.

My original thread was intended in a friendly and humorous way, yet some of you took it in a negative perspective. Thats your opinions, yet you show little respect for my views.

I will always support Sunderland, I was born in Castletown and left for Australia when I was 10yo, I have watched some of the legends of the game at Roker Park, yet now I watch this lot that wouldn't know what bleeding for the club is, that is what pisses me off, as it probably does for you.

Seriously some of you really need to lighten up, I was under the impression we support the same team!
