Plenty has been written about the experiences at Wembley and I've seen it elsewhere on my travels this season.

I dont want to go over old ground too much but through emails to the club and action by those closer to club personnel surely we can help bring about a sensible change to the way things are done. All it needs is tick boxes for ACTIVE or PASSIVE support on the away ticket allocations (with a disclaimer that 'every effort will be made to seat you in your area of choice, etc....). This way the vocal support and the 'so-called flaskers' can be separated and enjoy their own experiences of supporting our football club.

It can be done to raise the home atmosphere too. Not everyone wants to stand in E1-E3 but there are pockets around the rest of the ground of singers and more vocal types (notably E11/S1/S2). The club could state on season ticket applications that these sections are singing/vocal areas to try to get likeminded supporters together. Its not rocket sceience.

    Time to get emailing folks.

It's already in hand, the club are discussing how practical it is to allocate singing sections on the bottom and top tiers.

Surely its doesnt hurt to keep going with it.

Good to hear that the club are on the case OLM however its an ongoing matter for away games next season imo and could be implemented for the KC as well.

The only problem is you will still get turds buy tickets in these areas wishing to soak up the atmosphere but not willing to contribute. I would expect almost all to apply for singing section at wembley and a sizeable amount of flaskers to be successful in doing so whilst would be singers are stuck sitting down in the flasker area getting told off constantly by grannies for jumping up or shouting.

One thing about doing it this way is at least no ****ers would be able to moan about standing up, they know what they're signing up for. That said, they'd still ****ing moan and try and get people to sit down, ****s.

    Thats my point.

I was fortunate enough to stand throughout at Wembley (although the scrap in 113 was just behind me and all rows in front were seated). Conversely was seated throughout at Anfield and SoL due to where I was sat.

The could resolve a lot of these issues in one go by just banning Dawn. She's involved in almost all these isssues.

Why would anyone travel down to see City play in a once in a lifetime FA Cup Final at Wembley and tick to only offer their 'passive' support?

Beyond the allocation for passholders which grudgingly has to include the passive flasker elements can the club ensure the remaining allocation goes to qualifying 'active' support first.

We do want to win the cup don't we?

    I saw the scrap

Like in the old hills of *****lia with the setting sun a large man full of anger about not being able to see the game

He rose he swung, the pose of a swing he almost fell into the row in front but he took the brunt of a right handed punt

I'm currently being berated on twitter for suggesting it to Ash Lord as it doesn't cater to those that will sit but sing at various points during the game. She's saying that it's consigning her to an area that she doesn't want to be in because she has a child and it's not logistically possible anyway.

Surely, if you have a child you would cater to their needs unless the child wants to be in the singing section and didn't someone on here post that Crystal Palace did it for the Play-off final and it was a great success?

Because not everybody is the same. Not everyone wants loud shouting or out of tune singing right in their ear. I'm sure they still like the atmosphere, but more from a distance than next door to them. Also some people, for example for age or health reasons, may not be able to stand up all through a game and prefer to keep seated more than people in some other areas. And really with the prices being paid for a seat I can understand some wanting to use it, as well as to be in an atmosphere they feel comfortable with. People should be able to pay for what they want.

There's some suggestion of season pass holders being allocated seats together as they would be at the KC, which makes a great deal of sense.

    This is not rocket science.

The form should have a box to tick if you are happy to go in an area where continuous standing is tolerated.

If 1000 people tick put them in a block of 1000, if 10,000 tick put them in blocks to accomodate 10,000.

The blocks can be spread over different price categories.

The standers get to stand and sing, the seaters get to sit (and sing if they want).

    Everyone is happy

You're not allowed to stand at Wembley, as a consequence, we can't send out a form inviting people to do so.

And you can't bring in a big flag.

    It might upset a 'sponsor'.

(Is the tail wagging the dog here?)

Of course, Wembley passes round a big flag over your head cos they can.

There were some blades parked opposite us who'd taken a big flag with them, it was bigger than the CTWD flag, I asked how much it cost to get it in and they looked bewildered. I wonder where it ended up...

If that had gone over my head I'd have demanded a refund from the FA for missing views which I'd paid good money to see.
