The ACON is this year, and with Eboue leaving, Arsenal are still poised to lose Song, and possibly Frimpong (since he wants to play for Ghana) along with Chamakh & Gervinho.

How much of an impact can you see this having?

If Chamakh goes, and Bendtner is sold, there will be NO centre-forwards save for RvP.

And what's happened to Coquelin!? I thought he was going to be vying with Frimpong to cover Song this season?? At this point there's a chance Arsenal will be left with ZERO DM's once the ACON kicks in.

We are short of strikers, we lack cover at DM and height at CB. this has been the case for three years, why would Wenger do anything about that now?!

Carlos Vela will still be here though. Maybe its time he stepped up and show that he is a CF also Theo could also step up and become a CF, you never know.

Francis Coquelin is with the French under-20s in Columbia.

Walcott and Vela can play up front, Afobe will be given a chance as well. Hopefully RvP will have a good season fitness wise, plus the ACON is in January, so we will be able to buy a striker if desperate.

Very much doubt Frimpong will be in Ghanas squad in 5 months time, Ghana have a fair number of decent CMs so for a player who will be back up at best to get into the World Cup quarter finalists ACON squad is a very long shot.
