Norwich have been 'inundated with applications' for the manager position. Although I may have applied myself!
That's a positive I suppose, but so long as they're up to the standard we require. I will go to war if they take a cheap unexperienced option. I have faith in McNally and I'm sure he'll pick the correct candidate.
I'm expecting to be appointed tommorrow! Also heard a rumour Norwich are speaking ti Hughton, could be bollocks though
Great news if true. Culverhouse would be my first choice, but it sounds like that's unlikely. Hughton I'd be more than happy with though. Michael Laudrup has now been heavily linked with the Swansea job though, so I hope the Norwich board would give him some consideration.
If we still had Doomcaster as CEO I think we could guarantee it would be the cheap option ! However, In McNally we trust, I would be 'made up' if we got Hughton. However, I quite like the idea of Laudrup, Hmm .......
Been brought over by Laudrup at the moment was impressed by his record. Either way McNally will give them a proper interview.
An interview with Mcnally would be a scary experience! Would certainly separate the men from the boys
McNally doesn't do Ipads, Schedules and Latte's.
I heard today that we might be looking at Tim Sherwood !!!! assitant to Harry Redknap at Spurs and widely tipped to become a quality manager ? Thoughts?
I wonder whether the rumour-mongers have trawled through all ex-Norwich players who are in management and are just listing them one by one... But, yes, he might be an interesting choice.
He's been steadily shortening odds on the betting sites.I know that only reflects money going on him,but does somebody know something?
Surely Lambert is going to take his backroom staff with him. They all do nowadays. So Culverhouse must be out of the reckoning. I don't see the board taking too much of a gamble with a newbie who would have to assemble a staff. Maybe stretch to an old hand with a younger man in partnership. I always hoped someone like George Graham might have fancied us with a young shaver to keep him honest.
So McNally is looking abroad! http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...t_s_replacement_to_mainland_europe_1_1398339?
The article also says they must have top-level experience. So that rules out Malky, Clark, Poyet, probably Solskjaer (I've only heard bookie's mention him though). It does mean Laudrup and Favre could be in the mix, as well as no doubt several names none of us have ever heard of or considered.
