Nasri's goal on the weekend was better than Sessengon's. Whaaaa?

If Rooney had scored Sessengon's goal I guarantee the media would be having ****ing fits over it. :/

Sadly there is a bias against our clubs. We will never get the recognition we deserve!

It's a real shame cos' the media will probably have an affect on potential signings.

The minute an English player leaves Sunderland they become better in the eyes of Capello. The bastard said that he didn't come to any Newcastle or Sunderland games. What the ****

Hardly surprising Postman Pat never came up here. He probably thinks we are at the north pole! We have a similar problem however most English players are over rated. Go buy some French speaking ones. We both have a decent record for signing them!

As long as Liverpool are around I'm happy to have overrated English players lol

We will have to find some more French speaking gems! Cabaye is awesome

<laugh> Good old Dalgleish. Did you hear his interview after their defeat to Bolton? Music to my ears! Players like Sess and Cabaye can be picked up for peanuts and are not on monstrous wages. They are far superior to players like Adam, Downing and Hendo.

    100% Agree
Dalgish is a **** manager who lives on the fact that he inherited a Liverpool team who at the time (the 80's) were the Barca of Football. No biggy he won trophy's. Then Blackburn, the old equivalent of today's Man City in the mega buck stakes.
Surly soon, even the Bin dippers will realise just how bad he is.

He seems to be similar to the guys who base their football knowledge on reading the sun! <laugh>

Liverpool are very, very average. KK is past it now and has been away for far too long. His only options are to look around the league and throw shed loads of money at players the papers are talking up? Are the Daily Mirror and the Sun his chief scouts? Lol.

Any other manager would be slaughtered for spending over £100m to still be totally pap.

Oh and they can totally frig off looking at MoN as an alternative.

<ok> Totally. It baffles me. I could have signed better players than he has done. We all could have!

I'm not sure that no-one will listen - maybe just the daft Liverpool fans...
Kenny inherited a squad of players from Keegan didn't he?? Keegan got them to challenge for honours all the time and Dalglish got them relegated - how can that be good management!!! The bloke gained legend status at Anfield but he is not a great manager - he slagged a ref off at the start of the season and has hardly had a decision given against him all season since!!

The bloke is an idiot and I have no time for him - "Suarez did nothing wrong" my arse!!!

Oh as for the OP - well what do you expect - we are Sunderland and are not one of the "Sky 5" - Personally i thought Sessegnon's goal was one of the best of the weekend if not the best - the move for the goal was tremendous and the finish was "postage stamp"

Someone text total sport last night telling them that the Sun decided to put the top 5 of the league table only... Why not top 6 like it's always referred to? Southern See you next Tuesdays.

At the weekend, if Sessegnon's goal had been identical to Nasri's and vice versa - Nasri would still be number one - not denying that Nasri's was a cracking goal but it was from the centre of the goal with only the keeper to beat - look at the angle of Sessegnon's!!

Why was Nasri's any better than Gardner's BTW?? Gardner was further out and needed much better accuracy to beat the keeper!

I agree Sess's goal was better but i must admit both the run and pass by Silva and the run by Nasri was top class, good goal all round......but yeah Sess's finish was subline.

As soon as Gardners against Wigan was not in the top 3 I have stopped caring.

You would be surprised. The only intelligent football discussions I have are on here with you guys or the lads over on my forum. A lot of people buy into the King Kenny propaganda!
