Maybe just a rumour but I was told the area behind the South Stand is being fenced off and smog machines in opperation to prevent mass fatalities

It could only happen at Sunderland...Any other ground it would be the away fans who have to suffer any acceass/travel inconveniences, but at Sunderland they inconvenience the home fans! There are many of our elderly and infirm fans who rely on using the St Peter's metro station, who are going to be prevented from doing so, and for no obvious reason...
Why can't they just keep the Boro lot in for 10-15 minutes after the game like every other club seem to do with away fans if there looks like it could be trouble?
