Harry Arter, Judas Defoe. Danny Mills didn't come through our academy. Lee Bowyer. Gudmondson didn't come through our Academy. Nick Pope didn't come through our academy. Bought from Bury Town. Joe Gomez, Michael Turner, Kevin Lisbie.
Don't think Arter or Defoe played for our first team, not sure about Turner either. The rules of the quiz are quite strict, especially if you can't include the old Div.1.
It depends on how old the players are when the joined the Academy Bowyer was 16 and played for the U18's.. Pope was 17/18 (? I think) and played for the U21's, Defoe was in our Academy and went to the FA's Lilleshall Development Complex where Carrick persuaded him to join the Wets on his return to London! … Danny Mills was never associated with our Academy.
