Now that we are showing interest in signing the young Spanish goalie and are showing interest in a young striker at Barnet does anyone know the up to date information on our achieving Academy One status. I am sure I read somewhere that if we are not granted it this year we have to wait another three years before applying.

It is really good to see the club building from the bottom and hopefully protecting our future long term

The under 18's and under 21's will play academy one fixtures this season prior to a full audit at the end of the year (See Swans website). This is excellent news.

What a massive boost to the Swans with the PL allowing us to play at their Academy's top level this coming season without us actually attaining Academy One status, which will surely now be a formality at the end of the year assessment. They can see that all the required foundations are being put in place now and obviously approve.
    Well done to all concerned!
