1:45 that cross for the goal against the Bees was fantastic, it was in my match report for the game .
Max Clark's free kick for me, that or the young lad's free kick that had the ridiculous curl on it. I can take a decent free kick, but that technique was brilliant.
Goals 8,9 & 10 were all good, the ones against Mansfield too. The early ones looked like 5 year olds running around with the opposition having a 2ft midget in goal, or a 2ft 5 year old. Far too many goals to remember.
Goal 8 was great team-play, the tackle and pass through was mint, collected well, excellent low cross and neat finish; all made to look very easy. Too many to pick, but that was a great passage of football.
What happened to the Hartlepool right winger at 2:00? I'd guess Sunday morning KO, only got home from banging some trollop in time to grab his boots, before scarpering to catch the bus to the ground, still pissed & having to sacrifice his customary 5 deep puffs on a JPS as the teams were lining up for KO as a result. Once you lose control of your pre-match preparation then your game turns to ****.
That first goal from the U-18s was easily the best, what an absolutely superb goal. Think it's the same one Fez is describing by the sound of it but I didn't keep count. Great to see some excellent goals and brilliant football by our u18s. Heartened to see them playing the game the right way and also being fairly good at it judging by some of the passages of play in those clips.
Something I don't understand about this is "please don't name the player for safeguarding reasons". I'm trained in safeguarding and putting pictures/videos of youths on the Internet and social media is much worse than their name. Secondly, if you have parental permission, you can name them/put them on line anyway - surely those under 16 would have this. There isn't much more public than being a footballer. Moan over.
