Abstinence

Now I know ST doesn't drink and Dan for a while was off it (correct me if I'm wrong Dan) I have now been put on further medication with which you are not supposed to drink alcohol.

How did it go for you?

I've stopped and must admit already feeling better. Done enough boozing in the past anyway. Next step I think will be giving up the smokes. Done enough of that in the past as well.

Anyway see how it goes. I can already feel an improvement in my liver, which apparently is a very sturdy organ, and can self heal fairly quickly.

Just glad I don't do any other drugs

 

Yes i was off it for 6 weeks R - it wasn't bad but it was in January and february. I might have to go back on the wagon because of soemthing else - I think the summer may be more challenging. I was told to give up smoking but have fouind it impossible.

 

I am actually sipping a cold beer as I read this and am now going to smoke a Benson and Hedges cigarette.

 

Doesn't your anti-psychotic medication count as drugs then ER? Probably best you keep taking that.

Go cold turkey and just carry on as normal (e.g. go to the pub) minus the ***s. Don't ever have a *** again, not one. After 3 weeks you'll hardly ever think about ***s.
