He's a twat, but I partly agree with his view that the media think they have everyone in football at their beck & call. Especially when the same media have no regrets about sticking the knife into managers & players or passing on gossip & rumour unchecked. I'm sure the local Nottingham rag is just as **** as the Soton Echo.
That is the strangest thing I have ever seen, I wonder if he just didn't fancy speaking to the press if they didn't make the play-offs, which was eventually the case?
