    The mind truly boggles.
Arguments with whom ????? Buck, Gourley, Abramovich ????
Do we want a great Football club, or a great game for our owner to play. Perish the thought that any manager could know more about the game than the owner or his board !!!!
I'm really sorry, but this garbage will NEVER GO AWAY with RA in charge.Put the Club up for sale Roman , and go buy another big boat . The bigger the boat , the smaller the dick.

You really dont like him ,do you CP? Perhaps he's learned a few lessons by now and will hopefully tread a bit more carefully in future! He cant carry on like he has been and making us a laughing stock!

I understand your frustration CP but try and think of the good RA has done for this club, don't fall into the media trap, they want us to turn on RA. RA brought us Mourinho in the first place and we won 2 League titles, 2 Carling Cups and an FA Cup, and with his team we went on to win a further 3 FA Cups and a CL.

Compare that to City who have even larger resources than us but appointed the wrong managers and they only have an FA Cup and 1 League title to show for it.

The problem is the board. After AVB and Benitez, Emanelo's job should be near enough untenable. If he goes then things will be a lot better. That's who we want gone before Gourlay or anyone else.

  5. Ah, come on, Ozzie! Be fair, the OP does have a valid point to make. Indeed, it's one that I have made several times, myself.

Your owner has turned your club into a laughingstock. Yes, he has bought you glory with his billions, but his megalomania and paranoia are slowly destroying you.

Surely, there must come a point at which even you would rather take your chances without him, than to keep taking those 20 pieces of silver? Does it not worry you that this escalation of your club towards becoming, effectively, unmanageable will prevent CFC from challenging for honours whilst Mad Dog remains in charge?

I wouldn't worry about us challenging for honours, what about your own clubs failure to do that for over 20 years?? Now that's really something to worry about. ;)

  8. It's not a worry, 100, because we've not been in serious contention for the top honours (ie. league title and/or European Cups) in such a long time. It's all about expectation, and Spurs fans have simply come to expect that we won't be able to sustain a creditable challenge for that kind of glory.

Which is why we are all so excited that we have been in or around the top 4 for quite a few seasons, now.

For CFC, things are very different, of course. Your expectations are that you'll be challenging for everything, each and every season, and it is a disappointment for you when you don't match up to those expectations.

I sure don't like what he's doing to the Club BM 2.It's all very well having success, but it's more important to handle that success in a mature manner.
It's interesting to see the replies, you can tell all you need to know about people by their lack of ability to respond without thinking things through.
For some, success is the be all and end all, for me how we handle the success is far more important.

Know what you mean DL, but I think it's deeper than just the Board. For sure they are hopeless, but someone appointed them.
RA has brought us success on the pitch beyond anything we expected, but look at the state we're in now, and the mood of the fans.
Hope at seasons end there is a clear out of more than Fat Boy, there's room in the taxi for 4 others.
Imagine what we could achieve with decent personnel in charge???

SOURCE, or this something you heard on the bus? 'Sorry' if not everyone has the opportunity to scour the internet for every scrap of Chelsea news and rumour. Unless people start putting up LINKS, all these types of post are just garbage.

CP I understand your frustration but Roman isn't as much to blame as you might think. He knows very little about running a football club and so entrusts this to the people he employed around him. It's not his fault he has managed to get complete ****wits to do the job. I think you will find some wholesale changes happening at the bridge both on and off the field this summer.

Some of us are old enough to remember the 70's and 80's so won't bemoan still being in contention for top 4 and two trophies into March.

No one has a right to challenge every year; how United have managed to do it for so long is amazing and probably post Fergie wont happen ever again.
