We have Dyer and Routlegde, if they were better they would playing for another team. We should just be glad about having them around, I am a huge Laudrup fan, but he failed to see what we needed upfront, its neither Vasques nor Bony .... one is versitile but clueless, Bony looks like the real deal .. he just doesnt fit our play and it really doesnt seem the team is adapting to his style.

A mature mobile striker is what Swansea needs, where to get one? ... I have no idea. But we have a short memory when it comes to the dids of Dyer and Routledge, they are the ones providing the team with the unexpected ....also unexpected crosses, but hey, maybe we could get Nani on loan. Pablo is soon to be with us, nice to have choices.

Its a bit thin but I do feel we have a strong team, we just cant tolerate injuries in our defense, Tiendalli is way off last years performances. Amat is a risktaker and I really dont fancy anyone else besides Chico and Williams, I have to say though that Amat has some things going for him lately. Taylor is looking fit but Ben really looks better on the offensive. I cant decide between those two.

The midfield is good, perhaps in my oppinion one of the best in Brittain .. we lack a bit of creativity, but bearing that in mind, hard woris more important than a Silva doing nothing .. for us that is.

We have a wonderfull team ... but clubs are catching up, and the premier league this year is far better than last year.

Hugs to you all you lovely wonderfull Jacks.

You moan about Bony, yet in the same post say we should be happy we have Routs and Dyer.

So we should be happy we have two wingers who can't provide a half decent cross between them, but should moan about a striker who is best from decent crosses. And who came inches from giving us a goal tonight. (His job I might add) yet Dyer and Routs came inches away from what exactly, cos they didn't provide 1 decent cross (Their jobs)

    Yes, makes loads of sense.

And that strong and mobile striker, is what Michu can provide in the AM role, who has also been off the boil.

How can we expect our strikers to do well, when those around him are subpar?

Maybe they need to work harder <laugh> ;)

For the love of money I cannot fathom how some can't see that the service to Bony and Michu is pathetic <doh>

Valley, there are none so blind as those who deliberately refuse to see the blindingly obvious irrespective of the evidence. Perhaps the pertinent question that should be asked is, why is a player who got 31 goals in 30 games in a pretty decent league, being starved of the service he needs to do the same for us? It's criminal!

It certainly is criminal Ivor, I've seen better crosses into the box from the Swansea League this week! we really do need to get more bodies into the box too, we have lost our style some what, and need to get it back, on the plus side we are still getting results, when playing poor..................<cheers>

I'm going to be criticised here but the only person who can change this is Laudrup and he has to shoulder the responsibility imo. He can't control bad play from players - if they have a bad day at the office then it's down to them - but he does have a say in tactics, style and in particular tempo - all of which are sadly lacking right now.

[Edit: I've done a thread on this. Feel free to abuse me.]

One goal, albeit an excellent one, doesn't convince me just yet that Borini is up to Prem standard. I know Rodgers criminally played him out of position but he has to do a hell of a lot more before I think he can do a job. If he proves me wrong then good luck to him, he's a decent lad.
