In light of the civil unrest plaguing our capital and other major English cities, should the olympic games, due to start in less than 12 months, be moved to a safer and more civilised city? Most suitable location would probably be Moscow but Bagdad and Kabul should also be considered

If the rioters ( sorry I meant moronic thugs ) really want to finish off this country we can expect an encore next year. Just who, in their right mind will risk visiting Britain ( not just England ). If there was any hint of a protest against austerity measures as justification for the mindless behaviour, the actions of these idiots WILL only make it worse for them - they shouldn't need to be intelligent to understand this - but then there are people out there who are members of the flat Earth society.
It seems obvious to me that there is always an issue involving a city that is close to hosting a major event. I reckon it's all been very carefully planned.
