The goals were good, especially that second one, good turn away from the defender.

id like to see if he can fill in midfield when tiote goes off to the ACN. i know abeid isnt a defensive midfielder, but theres more than one way to skin a cat. and i dont have much faith in guthrie. gosling is probably going out on loan, and while smith does give 100% each game he plays, he just isnt the player he was in the championship

  6. So is he an attacking mid or a defensive mid?

I've heard he's a good holding type mid and also that he's good in attack also.

Goos news is both were from a striker closing down the keeper and forcing a poor clearance, which we don't see enough of in the Prem. Mackail-Smith used to do that all the time for Peterborough and they scored a ton of goals fom it too.

  8. How the chance came doesn't matter, he finished them both well <ok>

He did, but the striker deseves a bit of credit for working hard to create the chance, just as if it had been a winger who put in a great run in the build up.

I asked him on facebook when he first signed for us (and was meant to just be a little known youth team player) and he said he plays anywhere in midfield.

Two beauties by Abeid... but the keeper's clearances are really poor and lead to both goals and also I don't understand why they're passing the ball near their own corner flag so early in the game... LOoks like they didn't want to play <whistle>

Prefer Haris to fill the Tiote role. Abeid can fill for any possible injury to Cabaye and Marv likewise with Benni. What lovely back up to have

Vuckic is the exact opposite type of midfielder to Tiote IMO.
