    Not good news on Rolando...

United’s Rolando Aarons is out until next month – after suffering a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

The winger made a goalscoring comeback from a six-week lay-off against Manchester City late last month.

But Aarons limped out of training last week and didn’t feature against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

And the 18-year-old will miss the fixtures against Queens Park Rangers on November 22 and West Ham United a week later.

However, Aarons – who forced his way into Alan Pardew’s first-team squad after impressing in pre-season – is staying positive.

He said on Twitter: “Everything happens for a reason. I’ll be back...again.”

Aarons’s strike against City took his goal tally for the season to two, with the England Under-20 international having netted against Crystal Palace in late August.

He signed a professional contract at Newcastle in August. Aarons joined United from Bristol City two years ago.

Massive shame and big blow after losing Obertan. Cabella and Gouffran will need to up their game now. I still see Sammy as an impact sub despite his improved showings.

Obviously we will need to take it slow with Aarons if he is to avoid chronic injury. As much as we would all like him to be a starter, I think he may need to be restricted to carefully scheduled substitute appearances this season. He is only 18 after all

Not too bothered about the games he'll be missing as it's the December fixtures that we'll need all his speed and graft for.

If Aarons is injured for the foreseebale furture, there is no pressing need rush him back, wait for the derby. If we can beat QPR we will be relatively comfortable for abit so there is no need to rush him. TBF aside from the Liverpool, Palace and City game his impact has been minimal. I don't mean that in a negative way at all way. There is some real promise there, we just need to be careful with him.

Aarons needs to be eased along gently. Lets not pin all our hopes on a 18 yr old. I'm sure he'll strengthen as he grows. Pardew has done a good job with the young players and I'm sure he'll protect him. Personally I think he is the real deal and a massive talent. I think his impact has been integral to our revival, but he is one of a few along with Sammy, Dummett, Abeid, Perez, Haidara/Armstrong (to a lesser extent), who re-energised the side with young legs.
