That has to be good news and Aaron will have another chance to show his worth.

Good to hear sotonstu. Cherries will really be under pressure now as they know we are closing on them as are Huddersfield and Peterborough.

Heard a bit of criticism about Aaron, thought he only made one obvious error, but got away with it, and he was playing on his "wrong" side anyway. Good game, a bit too slow going forward first half and KD seemed a bit hesitant a couple of times, but a win is a win and I am happy with the outcome, was hoping for a Deano tribute but apart from a small mention in the Programme nothing doing, perhaps after Saturdays tributes it is a bit too late now.

Was also disappointed at no tribute to Deano. As for Aaron yes he had one tender moment but for me grew in confidence as the game wore on. KD gives me Kittens....his handling at times was to say the least amateurish. Young goberne did his cause no harm when he came on looked useful. Forte tried to take on the goal keeper and for me got caught in two minds so he failed. Will not do his confidence any good. Is it me or does he look a shade on the unfit side?

Every young player will make mistakes, its part of learning so I think we can let Aaron Martin off on this 1, I thought he had a good, solid game who get more confident as the game went on :) same team for sat. please nigel

I thought he had a good game. Just that one mistake but didn't put a foot wrong apart from that

Please Nigel can you pretty please leave someone up field during set pieces against us. So that every time we clear we don't give possession away automatically. Pretty please.........

Yes, Oxo facing the right way in the centre circle could create a bit of a distraction!

It took Barney a couple of games to get back into it, he needs to play more often with Ricky so that they can build up a proper understanding, Guly when fit is OK but far too unpredictable and tends to cover too much of the pitch, I have said before, no doubting his enthusiasm, but just a bit more of a disciplined approach and we will get the best out of him.

I thought Aaron Martin had a very good game. Only one mistake all game, which can happen to the most experienced defenders. Him and Fonte had plenty of work to do with the midfield looking unconvincing. Think we need to move Lallana into the middle against Bournemouth to impose ourselves in midfield. We'll lose it if we can't command midfield.

Any defenders, particularly young ones, will make mistakes, but I like the way he doesn't let pressure faze him. Its a rare quality in young defenders. I think the experience he has in non-league has done him good - its much more physical than youth football and you need to close down much faster.
