Greetings all.. Having a Colonoscopy at 12.30pm tomorrow, haven't eaten since 11 am this morning and currently doing the 24 hour prep with Moviprep sachets 1 & 2, ffs I can barely move away from the ****ing toilet. Any of you lads ever need a system clear out, then this is the stuff. Might need one of Lollie's pads on tonight just to get some shut-eye, got to do round 2 at 6am in the morning, heaven's forbid..
Aye i've been through that mate, it just cleans you out, f**k all left to pass, strangest thing i've ever slurped, cold but warm at the same time! You will fart like at t**t after, bloke over the way from me in recovery held up an imaginary board and gave me a 10 on the fart scale, there's nowt to it, the doctor wont ring or write to you after you've had yo ass played with though You can watch them do it on the telly anarl, bit strange when you see them take the biopsy
I was on some blood thinners that I had to inject myself with a while back, know what you mean in terms of not leaving the toilet... Hope everything goes alright
I was coughing up a lot of blood recently and was sent on the Lung Cancer 2 week programme, totally **** myself like. When they did the lung scans they deliberately went down to the abdomen in case the lungs were clear to see if the root of the problem was there. My lungs were clear and a Bronchoscopy seconded that but the scan picked up a mass build up in my Colon towards the appendix, hence the colonoscopy tomorrow. Had one of these in 2010 but the prep was nowt like this, didn't even think I had owt to eat at breakfast but the ****er is coming from somewhere..
They can put a man on the moon, lose a bunch of geckos in space, put droids on mars yet they can't figure out a better way of checking **** like that out. All the best fella, look after yourself.
Its wierd as ****, just cleans you out to the point when you are just ****ting clear fluid (that'll be the morning) They'll be looking for crohns, colitis, or a pancreatic dissorder mate, i wouldnt worry yasell, all the aforementiobed are able to be lived with, they've ruled out the biggun, just lie there and let them interfere with you Its like being on the wrong end of a one night stand
