Some will say how time does fly While others will say with a sigh, How time has dragged on Now one year has gone Since Chris Hughton and Co dropped by A year in which we saw it all A poor start, a climb, then a fall, With one or two blips But not enough slips To spoil a good year overall Now this summer, it´s others lot To make changes in the top spot, Have they lost or won On the deal they´ve done Will they be happy with who they´ve got At least we´re free of that turmoil Which can make fans and players boil, As some who were in Get dumped in the bin As the new boss turns over the soil Continuity is a good thing Too much changing can only bring, Unrest and alarm Instead of the calm A settled ship has, when sailing So we can look forward I´d say To Chris Hughton´s second year fray, With no less a hope That we´ll again cope With whatever´s put in our way While who knows what all the new folk At Man U, Man City and Stoke, And Everton too Will bring to their crew Or if even ´the special one´ will choke. Well done, RBF! Funny to think what we were all feeling this time last year. The direction seems much more certain now.
Will certainly be interesting to see just how well those with a new face do, can´t think that either Everton or Stoke have made a change for the better, but you never know.
