A very good read, and one where he herded the twin sacred cows of Mick and Kelvin down to the far field and lashed their arses with a banjo.
I know I'm nit-picking, but why does the rumour that we were winless when we played Wolves still persist? I've read that at least half a dozen times since Saturday; heading for urban-myth status, I reckon.

"The fight, passion and tenacity that Wolves had shown since August were anonymous".
They weren't anonymous; if they were, you wouldn't have known what to call them, because they wouldn't have a name, which curiously is what the word anonymous means. Try "absent"or "missing" next time.
Apart from that, I enjoyed the article.

Read the article without looking at the replies. Gathered my thoughts and browsed your response before posting mine. I couldn't believe my eyes. You said everything I had in mind and quite frankly put it all far better than I would have (lashing cows arses with a banjo indeed)! Stopped me in my tracks it did - and saved me 'nit-picking' in exactly the same way...

Another case of great minds or fools seldom? Probably the latter but if you're ever looking for another twin, I may well apply! Think of all the effort we could save ourselves!!

Because Nelly said so in an interview after the game. What he meant was we've only won one since the new guys arrived.
