Without a doubt, the reason we survived by the skin of our teeth last year was our home form in the last 2 months. The catalyst for this was the Liverpool match, not so much in the win but how it came about. This year our home results have been woeful and the away form has maintained its cronic state.
As well as poor formations, team selections I've got to say the guys look sh.. scared right now. I think the catalyst for this year could well be our away form. We all know the figures and yes they make grim reading, but, a couple of away wins at say Stoke, Sunderland or Wigan could well provide the guys with that belief that is so obviously missing.
So Mr.Hughes, here's your chance, please play this starting 11:

    Cesar
    Mackie Hill Nelsen Traore
    Faurlin
    Granero Diakite
    Hoilett Taarabt
    Cisse

Send them out with fire in their bellies and the wins will come and away to - Then and only then will the pressure be off at home and we can all start to enjoy.

    Come on I believe.

One sour note - Going for draws away from home is about as good a long term strategy as investing in chocolate mugs etc<rofl>

Sorry but Mackie at right back? we have two natural right back's and Mackie is a forward minded player not a defender.

Do not play Mackie in defense.
Impact sub with 25 minutes to go may be very productive.
Better hope Ferdinand has one of his better games along with whoever else is alongside him.

Park can play at RB, we might as well try him there seeing as we wont play him at RW.

That's more of a hope for a way out of it but at the moment, hope is all we are left with.
TF has only himself to blame if it would cost too much money and breakdown of structure to sack Hughes. As I've said before, he's put all his eggs in one basket with Hughes!

I could start drinking again that would be a great way out of this. I could focus on the rugby which is gearing up nicely that might distract me. I could take the beretta and blast away on the top fields that would reduce my blood pressure

    Or

We could win a match? Just one. That would be a start. One solitary away game. Not too much to ask is it?

Quite fancy starting saving up for one of these Renault/Caterham Alpines, though they won't look as good as the classic ones.....

How about taraabt left back? Rob green in goal anyone? Ok, maybe that last one was a bit too " out there "! I love it when ordinary people try to become a football manager, as if their simplistic strategies will lead us onto the path of instant success. Maybe TF should just sack Hughes and come on here a couple of days before each match and take a lucky dip pick of whoevers team and tactics takes his fancy. If only i thought you were being serious danish......

Not what I Would have wanted at start of season but seeing how Anton was so scared on Sunday I wouldnt put him anywhere near Crouch! As for two rightbacks WHO are they? You surely dont mean Bosingwa and Onouha?

Boswinga has been pretty good so far, he set up the equaliser and you want him dropped just because he didnt chase back once?

A bit condescending that imo. Us ORDINARY people couldn't do any worse than that ****ing muppet Hughes. Mackie has played right back before and Bosingwa looks as though he would rather stick pins in his eyes than play for us. Who is this other natural right back you refer to?

    Flyer.....please!!
He was awful at the Emirates and even worse on Sunday. Yes, his cross set up the winner, but it didn't look like he picked out Cisse. It was just a hopeful mis-hit cross that I'm sure wasn't meant to be along the ground. He looks like he couldn't care less. Mackie would be a much better bet, although I reckon Hughes may put Onuoha there against Stoke as he's pretty good in the air.

Hughes stated that our youngsters will be involved I would get Harriman straight in to replace Bosswinger Ehmer and Doughty look to have a lot more composure than Ferdinand and Park and personally I would play Faurlin and Granero together with Diakete and Taarabt Cisse and Mackie up front Hoillett to me looks either unfit or totally confused and Zamora should be outed you know to be bonest with our current players Warnock would have got us at least 12 points by now I just don't understand what is going wrong with Hughes and co and Fernandes is starting to annoy me.
