Gills manager Andy Hessenthaler, has come out today and backed Argyle to avoid the drop as we are a big club who just "need a bit of luck" at the moment. He also says Fletch is a "top lad" and the right man for the job right now.Just wish I could believe it all-given we are going down as it stands in the league.

They've definately got a better sponge man than we have..........I would like to know what he puts in his sponge water that rejuvenates the dying so quickly.

Pinch of salt is all I'd say. Manager's fraternity at work and besides, what has he got to loose by being nice. He might not have been so friendly had they not gotten 3 points.

Just wondering if all this managerial patting of backs is akin to being voted manager of the month, and then the inevitable losing run starts.Reading the match report today I note according to Fletch "the lads worked their socks off" (apparently) fancy that!

Apparently feeling the pressure. Not half as much as we are. No wonder we have no money if we have to keep buying new socks every week.
