I was speaking to Johnny Howson the other day and he told me that when norwich played us we seemed very unorganised and that hughton at half time instructed the hold up of the ball upfront as our midfield looked all at sea when norwich supported the ball. He was very honest in Norwich chances of staying up this season but it really shocked me at that point to hear a Hughes team was thought to be unorganised.
Bob email this to MH & his team to let them know what other sides think and the instructions they're given.
We were **** that day, a point we are lucky to have. Good player Howson he was running the show 2nd half.
I don't think I'll see a flatter performance than that for a while. Lucky to draw against a very average side. Bob - tell Mr Howson it's disorganised...
Matt, 'disorganised' implies that something was previously organised and a subsequent disorder occurred, whereas 'unorganised' implies that no such order ever existed and the whole thing settled in a random haphazard way, like rainfall. My take on it for what it's worth (probably not a lot!)
So QPR have NEVER had an organised team? I've seen differently and I'm sure there are others with longer memories that can remember it too. I'll take all you pedants on.
We were very organised and solid against Arsenal. Backed up by analyses by the "experts" after the game.
Not flustered Bob. It was a cheeky aside on the correct word. Grinning Cur did a cheeky response and it's gone from there. The OP was interesting and fair (semantics aside). I won't go into it but I was right on my correction but it was poor form of me to do so. Apologies.
One of the problems with Internet forums is that the intention behind a comment or the tone can often be open to misinterpretation. In my case this can be attributed to my lack of skill. Some get around this by using those infernal smileys; I'm not a fan of them, partly because half the time I don't understand precisely what each one means, half the time because they're so crude, and the other half of the time I can't get them to work for me. Any errors or inaccuracies in the above may or may not be intentional.....
