Didn't know whether anyone had picked up on this, as it was announced close to kick-off time today but Mitchell Cole, the former Stevenage midfielder passed away suddenly in his sleep last night, aged only 27. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-20566207 Desperate for his friends and family, especially as he'd completely given up playing to minimise the risks to his health. Makes you grateful to be blessed with good health. R.I.P.
That happened to a lad I knew over here. He came in after a night out with his mates. His mum went to see why he had'nt woken up the next day for work, and he'd just slipped away in his sleep. It turned out he'd got a weak wall in a vein in his heart, and it just gave way, but however you dress it up, dead in your mid twenties is shocking.
