I have been reading in the papers this morning speculation that our Happy/Special One, may be thinking about losing Juan Mata in the January window! This is something he has denied, but its clear our Player of the Year doesn't cut it with him. As far as I'm concerned the most important thing is to win games and trophies and as long as he does this its hard to criticise his methods, but deep down it doesn't seem right to treat Mata as a "reserve". I'm curious to know what other Blues feel about this about turn!
Selection hasn't bothered me, Hazard and Oscar have both had similar involvement. Neither have the press, although the interview on football focus today and on talksport yesterday worried me a little, Juan didn't really give a straight answer when asked about the situation and just said more or less all he could do is continue to train hard and be happy. Be disappointed if he left but it's not the end of the world, as long as it's abroad and we replace him with someone of similar quality.
In a long hard season I feel Mata will have an important role to play, and as injuries and suspensions come into the equation he will get some good game time A strong squad is essential to be challenging on all fronts
Surely the Happy One would never think of pushing one of the best players in the league abroad? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/24/jose-mourinho-wayne-rooney
He is the manager of Chelsea and will do and say what is best for Chelsea. This is why United fans dislike Jose, because his comments reel you in so easily
Now why would he do that? The joy of finishing outside the top four? The magic of the Europa League? Do me a favour.
I like the guy he's a nice lad and was our best player for the last 2 seasons. I just hope he stays, as he would be an asset to any club.
A player who will be an asset to the premier league..."we need to keep our best players here" I wonder who said that in August?
It was Drogs who said he should go abroad, I dont know if you realise, Drogs isnt the Chelsea manager. He and Jose are different people, just thought i'd point it out
Mata is a great player. If chelsea don't want him then i would love him at manutd. He is one of the top 3 players in the premier league.
And also the fact he never wanted to manager. Damages the mantra that every single person in the world wants to manage or play for them.
Hey district line, did you name yourself after the district line on the london tube? There used to be another poster called district line on the old bbc 606.
Purley mate that is not true. Why has he given Januzaj so many chances this season if that is the case? Also, moyes is three months younger than mourinho so he is hardly a dinosaur.
Its not his age that is prehistoric, it is his training methods. Jose and Moyes are from totally different cultures Meth.
Moyes is a great manager no doubt about it. However, his teams are so dull to watch. I would rather watch paint dry than watch one of mourinho's teams play football.
