England are just appalling. How one can expect to challenge for the European Championships with such players like Gareth Barry, Frank Lampard, Darren Bent and even Scott Parker on the field is beyond anyone with a smidgen of common sense. Wayne Rooney once again showed that he's just a clueless bull in a china shop when wearing the three lions strip with another average performance as well as the petulance of a child...or rather the petulance of a child who can't be brought up properly as shown by his father's dodgy dealings. Now in his prime you'd expect for this ugly duckling to flourish. Maybe for Manchester United, (matured into a swan.....a downright ugly swan though) but for England he'll always be an ugly duckling no matter how desperate the English media try to hype him up. If the England plane disappeared off the face off the earth Bermuda triangle style then I don't think there'd be anyone who'd actually care. They are a national embarrassment.
Unfortunately you are right, maybe it is better though if we have no expectations then things can only get better. You should add Terry to your list too as the top international managers know how to exploit his weaknesses
JOhn Terry should of been disgaurded when he was caught with Bridges wife he is the problem in the england camp. Get rid of him now and LUMPArd they are well past there sell by date. But if we did the cockney based media would go spare as usual. The truth is no england manager selects the team it the cockney based media that do it and them turn on the manager they selected. If only we could get rid of this cockney based media.
