We had the guys from A Touch Far Vetched on the Children's Ward in Morriston Hospital this week. They donated a a massive amount of toys from Smyth's (over £600 woth, I think!). I just wanted everyone to know that they're out there doing this sort of of thing. I also wanted to say thanks to all the guys at A Touch Far Vetched from all the staff in the children's unit at Morriston. We really appreciate it! When anyone sees a seller at the games, just remember that at Christmas time next year, it'll all have contributed to toys for sick children or some other hugely worthy charity.
Cheers Shaper It was my brother Steve (the one in the orange Swans strip) and ATFV editor Nigel (the bald one wearing glasses) who visited the ward with the goodies. Unfortunately I couldn't make it that day as I was working. Thanks should also go to Smyth's toys and duty manager Dai Craddock who added plenty of freebies to our purchases - also Days Rental who provided a van free of charge.
Can't speak highly enough of Smyths and the staff there - they were all brilliant so thanks Tycoch and also thank all your workmates!
Great to hear of such care from ATFV, thanks shaper for putting this up, love hearing these heartwarming accounts, and can imagine the big smiles on the kids faces, well done all concerned............. please log in to view this image
