Yes, twelve years ago yesterday there was the Victory Parade from the Cottage to Fulham Town Hall.

In brilliant sunshine thousands of Fulham supporters flooded the streets of Fulham to celebrate the hugely successful conclusion to the 2000/2001 season.

The Fulham squad, managed by Jean Tigana, ran away with the Nationwide First Division Championship heading the league for all but a couple of weeks. They scored more goals than any other top flight European team and finished the season just four points short of the all time points record for the league.

Excited fans congregated en masse at Craven Cottage

The bus carrying the Chairman, players and management all taking turns to show the First Division trophy to cheering fans proceeded down Fulham Palace Road and Fulham Road, with the fans forming a triumphant procession behind the bus..

A sea of Black and White flags awaited the bus upon its arrival at Fulham Broadway and as the players proudly held the trophy aloft the fans went wild.
