Match Day Thread A Thicket Green v Chairboys 12th Nov 22

The Chairboys are off to have some Double Gloucester on toast, but they will have to play much better than they have done as of late as our last four games at Adams Park have seen us play varying degrees of rubbish but let's hope a change of scenery will change our fortune.
Gaz will be hoping we will have some central midfielders back for this one also Forino should be back and hopefully the back three have been defending corners on the training ground all week.
I will be going to this one along with Slasher having a couple of beers before the game and taking a couple packets of beef jerky and biltong with us hope we don't get searched hoping for a good game and most importantly a win for the Chairboys

 

First game I will have attended in about 20 years tomorrow, taking my son and his friend. Hopefully the boys will put on a good show and get my son hooked on Wycombe.

 

Just shows how things in football move on the last time we went to Forest Green in 2018 there are only 3 players still at Wycombe Jacobson, Gape & Freeman

 

We haven’t actually bought tickets yet and we’re hoping to at the match. Can anyone who goes regularly let me know if it is likely to be sold out or if there is a website or something where I can find out if it’s sold out before we head over.

Looking at the mim by min I see there were 5 yellow cards in the 62nd minute 3 to Forest Green & two for us

It was great to get to a match again, we were fantastic first half, not sure why we dropped to a deep block 2nd half. Fully deserved victory and now Scowen is back with Taf and Mawson behind him we should start climbing the table.

 

Great game for us well controlled 2-0 flatted them they did a bit of huffing and puffing in the second half but only had 1 shot on target all game I thought the ref was a bit finicky making it a stop start game

 

Yeah I agree the ref made the 2nd half very stop start and they must have gone over at least 3 times looking for a pen, no bookings for the dives.
