Great read there Cyc. With regard to ol boy Victory Gunner I've followed his outings over the last few years and he's run very creditably indeed but always found at least one to good. I like seeing these old warriors still plying their trade and it would be nice to see a veterans chase added to the Cheltenham festival IMHO.
Regarding the general ageing thing I have chuckled at a few comments on here. Particularly the unwanted hair business, what a cruel nonsense that is. I can't get a fooking thing going on my balding head but if I let the ear stuff continue to sprout I could probably comb it right over the top in time. The other thing that really wracks me off is waking up each morning to find another joint/limb/muscle in considerable pain with no apparent explanation.
