I'm sure we all have our tales of celebration from the weekend. For me, it was how I ended up on a pitch twice.

After the game staurday and the fantastic on pitch celebration, I went home to watch the highlights, but unable to drink as I was running my first marathon (at 44) the next day in Milton Keynes.

Sunday was horrendous. Driving wind and rain and freezing cold. I ran the race at 4hr pace for 21 miles and then pulled a muscle and limped/jogged/crawled the last few miles, by which time I couldn't feel my hands. The finish line was in the mk dons half finished stadium - my second pitch of the weekend. I couldn't help but compare how different I felt on the two!

Anyway, Sunday night was a write off for celebrations as I was wrecked. But wow did I enjoy my beers last night! Not a weekend I'll forget in a hurry. Until we top it next year....
