Even I understood Neville was making a joke, it did in fact make me chuckle! I think he needs to calm himself when being criticised, he's only a young lad but he needs to learn to ignore most of the criticism being dished our way because it will only amount to even more when push comes to shove. p.s Ignore the misleading video, it doesn't show him saying anything.
Its called the British sense of humour Drogs. Very few foreigners can understand it! A bit like the Jeremy Clarkson business but on a smaller scale!
Good morning Cym. I understand you and your gooner chums are celebrating a special birthday today! Have you been with them since the beginning?
You're as old as you feel, dont they say? Or is it you're as old as the woman you feel! Anyway --you get my meaning!
To be honest Gary Neville was right as sometimes it does seem like his being controlled by a 10 year old lol but it's more the fact what gives him the right to say **** about us, i'd still rather have Luiz than have had Neville
Villas Boas is coming out with some entertaining stuff, his 'revenge' on The Press in the 'slap in the face' address was brilliantly smug. Probably needs to calm down a bit, and keep the rants for special occasions
The problem with the pundits and press is that they all have a favourite team and certain teams they look unfavourably upon -i.e no different to the rest of us! It seems most of them clearly support other clubs! ABV's response is only likely to encourage them! He could learn lots from the Special One in this department!
Clarkson is such a lad. No, I'm happy with what AVB said. A bit OTT but Nev is a massive you know what.
Clarkson is a massive massive massive ****, I don't even care what he said about the strikes, I thought he was one before that. But even I can see it was said in jest.
At the end of the day Nevilles a ugly stupid **** but AVB needs to calm down before him v the media spirals out of control
I like Neville as a pundit, as a player I hated nobody more so he's done well to change my views on him. Blue you're right, british humour that he's taken a bit too seriously!
He needs to take a leaf out of Ancelottis book , he never gave the media f@ck all to work with. Kept his cool and deflected any ******ed critcisms. But the lad is young,
Spot on gunner, but that was also a little boring. AVB is great in the way he's responded to his critics, it's what a loved about Jose albeit he did it in a funnier way. AVB just needs to say a bit less.
I think AVB needs to pull his head in - its not a wise choice to take on the media because you're basically telling them you can be rattled. Good Media relations are essential - have no doubt the Media will bide their time for when we next hit a speed bump and it will get very personal and nasty. I thought we had a PR person at the Bridge to advise people on how to handle these situations; I remember when Wenger was bad-mouthing our culture and Mourinho effectively disarmed calling him a voyeur.
Spot on Liquidator! Mums the word! Be polite to the press , but play your cards close to your chest! ABV is baring his soul at the moment and it just isnt right!. He needs a bit of advice from someone upstairs!
