Its 23 degrees in Coxhoe today, I know, near freezing to some of you foreign bods but hot for Coxhoe. Looking out of my lounge window I see the odd person in shorts, most without a jacket and a man mowing his lawn in his vest. That said most still have a lightweight jacket and long trousers and all have socks, funny how change can cause embarrassment. I Cyprus I would be in shorts all day and spend most of the day near naked by the pool but that's expected, its the norm and we are poor we Brits and going against the norm. I remember many, many years ago going to Barbados with around 30 colleagues and our partners, all in sales and on a free jaunt. We arrived in casual shirts and trousers, booked in and a quick change to enjoy our first day on the beach, then it hit us, we had never seen each other without a suit, shirt and tie, now we would be near naked. It lasted seconds, that slight embarrassed feeling but it was there. Illogical and not needed but there all the same, is it being human that does it or being British, we don't like being taken out of our comfort zone us Brits.
I like the hot weather and the effect it has on what clothing the ladies decide to wear or usually not wear.. 23 degrees is nice, it's what i have my air-cons set at...... How-ever now had over 24 hours of rain, and not just a drizzle either.... Oh that lovely big pool we are going is gonna be full, before we even pour the concete......
Off to the club now to cool down and get my dehydration sorted out from last night happy days kids happy days.
Ah the pool commo, when my lad was young and the sun shone it was paddling pool time, no fancy pumps for me, just a mouth and hot air. Blow and blow I would go, hurry up dad I would hear and I never got it fully inflated. Then out with the hose pipe and fill it with nice freezing water, never seemed to bother the kids who would jump in, the water would fly out and refill would start. Oh for relaxing Sundays in the sun, happy days.
It's warm here at Sky Newcastle as well not sure of the exact temperature. Iâm stuck with a load of sweaty horrible geordie scumbags and a few smoggies which is'nt the best way to spend your Sunday
I have seen a fair few walking by but there arent many in here mate. Most of the fit birds work upstairs on customer services
I walked down to Subway for luch and saw about 10 fit lasses and its only 100 ft away. It would look a bit strange if I wipped out my phone and took photos of them and I think it might lead to a charge sheet.
****ing joking, once one of the Byker slappers spots a camera there will be tits, knickers and slug trails across the pavement..
by the looks of them they looked more like gosforth lasses mate. they would have been straight on to the plod
