Very good article, agreed about the fragmented nature of the west london derby. Throw in Brentford as well and you've got 4 teams who have always remained too far apart in stature to have developed a serious rivalry. This is what excited me about this season having 3 teams in the top flight can only be good for our clubs. Besides, this has always been quite a friendly rivalry anyway, possibly in large part to the affluent areas which many of the teams fans are from, so some good natured competition can only be a good thing.
