Just had a heated discussion with my loved one over something that will never happen, we were discussing what we would do if we won the euro lottery of 156 million.
When asked what we would do first i replied i would give Cardiff City £50 million!!!!

So now im sleeping in the spare bed but at least i can dream of trading her in for a younger model with my £100 million (or £50 million if i have to give her half)

so am i being stupid or would others do the same??????:emoticon-0100-smile

Big mistake,

You should have said first I would give you £1million for shoes then I would give £50 Million to Cardiff City.

Bluebird 1927, strangely i wouldnt want to buy the club i would rather someone who could let his head rule his heart and i must love my other half i didnt even think of the hitman lol

Rhondda why did i not post this before i had that argument, damn if i had said that there would be no argument:emoticon-0100-smile

If you've got that much cash then do what the Malaysians have done, buy the club and appoint a CEO, then large it up in the best seats in the house, happy happy days
Although I've always thought football as a business doesnt really work, maybe for the elite clubs but for teams like us its just a heart ache and a ball ache

LOL Not trying to pinch your thunder, but had almost the same conversation with my better half.............her reaction,

you spend your spare cash and spare time following Cardiff so what's new?

I bet she'd change her tune if I hit a big jackpot though ;)

Alas cvd it will not happen this week unfortunately, now if you dont mind i would like to hijack your thread for a brief moment, now i need a bit of advice lads i have in fact won it this week, now i have packed our Huw back to spain to sort out a few of those unreasonable agents with 50 big ones in his back pocket, i have left a message on malkys phone telling him to sort out the bellamy deal with man city and get back to me so i can cover it with mansour, theres money put aside for prophet , oldsparky , bridgend and rhondda to have an all expenses lads weekend away with take that concert tickets thrown in. now the advice i need lads is what should me and Mrs Mabon do with the spare £100m

Well for a start change the club u support. If you gave huw 50 mill, he'd come back with 50 mill, and he'd probably still complain about the price of beer and ***s

He wont mind spending mine its the clubs he wont spend, mind you he is doing a grand job with the clubs moneyf

dont you believe it, once a tight ass, always a tight ass

I'd love to take the credit for the sig, but I copied it from another forum to which I partake. But its one of the truest statements i've seen, and govt drug policy defies all logic and common sence

Mabs whilst I appreciate the generous gesture <ok> ( and I'd like to congratulate you on your good fortune <ok>) without wishing to come across as a scrounger..............well a Take That concert, do you think your generosity would run to a set of ear plugs as well?

And with your huge windfall perhaps you could finally sort out the design fault at the Liberty, it's not fair on the fans............the seats face the pitch ;)

Ear plugs for you all i take it i will sort that , but the design fault could take a bit longer lol

£Mabon, I've just checked the Euro results............and you are a "little fibber" .............. However with two numbers I have won £2.80 thats nearly a pint at CCS, or half a pint and a packet of pork scratchings...........or a quarter of strong cheddar, or maybe a Clarksie, and a bag of chips decisions, decisions I've only been a lottery winner 5 minutes and I'm seeing the downside already, and the begging letters....................disgusting,

but I'll keep sending them <ok>

What a touching article. WOuld the donation be anonymous or would you perhaps want the stadium to be named after you. . . if so, may I be so bold as to suggest that you get rid of the vd bit of your nom de plume. The Jacks would have a field day.:emoticon-0114-dull:

A very kind gesture Mabs. Just one request, can we have separate rooms for our boys weekend away? I refuse point blank to sleep in the same room as any of those dirty bu££ers.

At the risk of castigation from my co-posters, actually I don't mind Take That now they have grown up a bit and stopped prancing around so much. I guess they are getting old like the rest of us.
