"Anything you get in life that is worth having, you have to fight for. I am a fighter, but I am a thoughtful one."
Steve Cotterills aspirations at Birmingham seem pretty positive, but how long will he last?
the task ahead is fairly daunting but he has the benefit of 35 games to get 46 points as this season whilst the relegation cut off zone is usually around the 50 something mark, 54 might be safe. Steve has a big challenge to finish mid table, and we wish him well.

at the other end of the table we sit 4th, 12 pts or 4 wins and a draw better off, for them to overhaul us we have to lose 5 games. so we have had a good start, again , so a top 6 finish?
last season we finished on (54 /51 allowing for the win in the 12 game bad run) but had we maintained a steady pts tally from start to finish we would likely have finished on 69, that's about 6 wins more than we achieved, or 5 of the losses in the 11 being wins!
this season we have a better team? / squad, not so dependant on 1 goal scorer .. strange how his absence was in sync with most of our bad spell!
we had a target, set by most of us for the first 11 games, and we pretty much exceeded most of our expectations, so what of the next 12, that will take us to the halfway point.
These games will all be harder, much harder
HOME WE HAVE:- __________ AWAY:- current placings indicated
    Burton 21 __________________ --Sunderland 23
    Leeds 5 __________________--_ Fulham 10
    Cardiff 1 _________________-__Sheff Wed 12
    P N End 6 _______________-___Hull 17
    Middsboro 11 ____________--___Sheff Utd 3
    Florest 13 ______________._-___Q P Rangers 16

my target Home is minimum 9 best 11, Away min 6 best 8, so will be happy to start second half at Reading on 35 points, With 69 to play for.
Whilst not being stubborn in the same way, Lee has been in having a fixed goal and going for it, will it workout... we all hope so
