Cardiff v Sunderland (5pm, Sat, Sky Sports 1) All the rubbish that's been going on with the Cardiff owner and what he's been saying caught up with the players on Boxing Day and was reflected on the pitch against Southampton. Losing 3-0 at home to them - and being 3-0 down at half-time - was a shocking result. Southampton haven't been doing great so to be whipped like that was bad from Cardiff. I think Sunderland are down and I said three weeks ago they're out of it, even though they've got decent players like Wes Brown and John O'Shea at the back. But I expect them to win this game after an unbelievable result at Everton. I didn't see that coming in a month of Sundays! Whatever the result, I hope Malky Mackay is still in charge of Cardiff after this game - if he isn't they'll get relegated. If the owner wants them to stay up then Malky is the man to do it. But they need to get things sorted out off the field because it dragged onto the pitch on Thursday. PAUL PREDICTS: 0-2 He feeling alright?
I don't understand whether he's saying we are going to get relegated, we're out of trouble, we're going to soundly beat them or what. Coked up.
I have to admire anyone who can earn money for talking such ****e ......... the bloke's a ****ing mess isn't he?
It's ****ing cringing how many **** saves he describes as 'worldies' just so he can cram the ****ing stupid word in
I don't know what the bloke is on, he contradicts himself from Boxing Day when he said: Everton v Sunderland Everton are flying along and getting great results but I don't think Sunderland are a bottom-of-the-table team and they should stay up. Everton will win this game but they aren't playing a group of no-hopers so I think this will be closer than a lot of people would expect. PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/15205/9087455/paul-mersons-boxing-day-predictions
In the alcohol and barbiturate ****ed up gambling addicted world of some ex footballers its no wonder they can come out with this **** on a daily basis. First he makes the bold statement that we are down already then says we will win this one? I mean he does realise that the result he predicts could very well take us out of the relegation places and to within 4 points of Swansea who he is always saying are having a good season? He surely does though doesn't he? Or is he so ****ed up and drunk that he cant even smell that he has verbally **** himself once again in front of a ever increasing sarcastic viewing base. Merson's thoughts on anything carries no gravitas or importance as he is simply an uneducated, thick as ****, pig ignorant, pond life ex footballer.
I've just seen that kidda and there are some footballers and ex pros who I just could never stand and he ranks up there with the worst. I always thought he was a ****ing ****er as a player and even more so as a pundit. I love to see and hear most of them on the Sky panel but he is a thick, ignorant ****wit and its a disgrace that eh is afforded prime time TV to spout his mindless drivel each week. He is clearly still pissed as an old fart on most of the programmes and his IQ must be under 3.
There's very few I have time for. The average footballing fan is on par knowledge wise with these idiots, they talk in cliche and they have no intelligence and are as boring as hell. Kamara and Sterling, they're the pundits for me. Doesn't matter if they're wrong or right, they always amuse me. It's all I look for in a pundit cause there's nothing else they can bring to the table. I get way more insight into football on the forums then they'll ever provide me.
We have to realise that Sky is run by Murcock, he'd sell his sons for 20 quid. They deliberately employ pricks imo so viewers tune in to laugh at them, in the mean time, Sky are creaming in money from advertising. Never had Sky & I never will. I wouldn't give Murcock 1 penny of my money. The Aussie bastard.
