Are you telling me that we can't get a winning 11 out of this squad...?

    1 David James Goalkeeper........England International
    2 Jordan Spence
(on loan from WestHam ) Defender
    3 Jamie McAllister Defender......Scottish International
    4 Liam Fontaine Defender......Ex Premier
    5 Lewin Nyatanga Defender.....Welsh International
    6 Louis Carey Defender
    7 Marvin Elliott Midfielder
    8 Neil Kilkenny Midfielder.....Australian International
9 Jon Stead Striker ......Ex Premier and England U21
    10 Nicky Maynard Striker
    11 Martyn Woolford Midfielder
    12 Ryan Taylor Striker
    14 Cole Skuse Midfielder
    15 Bobby Reid Midfielder
    16 David Clarkson Striker......Scottish International
    17 Yannick Bolasie Midfielder
    18 James Wilson Defender
19 Christian Ribeiro Defender .......Welsh International
20 Jamal Campbell-Ryce Midfielder .....Jamaican International
21 Kalifa Cisse Midfielder ......Mali International
    22 Dean Gerken Goalkeeper
    23 Joe Edwards Defender
    24 Marlon Jackson Striker
    25 Danny Ball Defender
    26 Joe Lennox Midfielder
    27 Albert Adomah Midfielder
    28 Nicky Hunt Defender.....England U21
    29 Aaron Amadi-Holloway Defender
    29 Patrick Hoban Midfielder
    30 Henry Muggeridge Defender
    31 Joe Bryan Defender
    32 Lewis Carey Goalkeeper
    33 Lee Johnson Midfielder
    34 Brett Pitman Striker
    35 Damion Stewart.....Jamaican International

Surely, with a squad as big and as experienced as this one,any manager or coach worth their metal could motivate and establish a winning mentality and performance...

    Something is wrong,badly wrong....

1 David James Goalkeeper - Always has and will make the odd mistake, good keeper though.
2 Jordan Spence - Young and will have lapses in concentration. Good player
(on loan from WestHam ) Defender
3 Jamie McAllister Defender - Capable, needs a fast CB next to him.
4 Liam Fontaine Defender - Looks lost without a commanding CB to tell him what to do.
5 Lewin Nyatanga Defender - Rate him, suspect positioning occasionally but not bad.
6 Louis Carey Defender - legs gone
7 Marvin Elliott Midfielder - Can't pass, control is hopeless and positioning is poor.
8 Neil Kilkenny Midfielder - Don't know enough about him to judge
9 Jon Stead Striker - great player
10 Nicky Maynard Striker - as above
11 Martyn Woolford Midfielder - not seen anything yet to show he was worth buying
12 Ryan Taylor Striker - seems pointless to get him if he wont play
14 Cole Skuse Midfielder - Makes the odd mistake but good player when given a run at CM
15 Bobby Reid Midfielder - all potential at the moment
16 David Clarkson Striker - Tidy player, bit slow
17 Yannick Bolasie Midfielder - no idea
18 James Wilson Defender - no idea
19 Christian Ribeiro Defender - injured all the time
20 Jamal Campbell-Ryce Midfielder - good player, great techinque
21 Kalifa Cisse Midfielder - quality
22 Dean Gerken Goalkeeper - very good
23 Joe Edwards Defender - all potential again
24 Marlon Jackson Striker - never done anything to push for first team
25 Danny Ball Defender - potential
26 Joe Lennox Midfielder - as above
27 Albert Adomah Midfielder - hit and miss. can be great, can be annoymous.
28 Nicky Hunt Defender - should be quality, but seems rubbish. shame
    29 Aaron Amadi-Holloway Defender - plays everywhere?
29 Patrick Hoban Midfielder - gone
30 Henry Muggeridge Defender - no idea
31 Joe Bryan Defender - no idea
32 Lewis Carey Goalkeeper - no idea
33 Lee Johnson Midfielder - needs to go
34 Brett Pitman Striker - quality
35 Damion Stewart - annoying. looks great then rubbish at times

Only players genuinely play-off quality : - James, Spence, Stead, Maynard, Skuse, JCR, Cisse, Adomah, Pitman. Kilkenny and Wilson might be, not seen them play enough to judge.

Not that great a squad to be honest... Better than we're showing at the moment though.

At least top 10 material, which is were we usually finish but ONLY WHEN the players have had enough of flirting with danger and decide to play up to their ability, this usually comes in 2 good spells in the season. One day, they will give themselves too big a hill to climb and won't quite make it.

Juat goes to show what could with the right man in charge to keep them fully focused and motivated

    Dangerous game to play lads.....

I was probably being a bit harsh earlier...

I agree that when the players get their heads down and play football then we look a very good side. It just seems that the mentality around the whole club is so fragile? After one goal/defeat the heads go down and it takes a long time for the team to pick up confidence.

The squad we've got,the experience there collectively,a mix of maturity, youth, experience, international and local,5th year in the Championship,we should be confident and good enough to be top half..

Our tactics, our style, team selection, the way we are projected to the media, the whole lot has gone flat and that is all down to leadership and man management,we ain't got none and I'm sorry but it's all guided, designed and implemented by Millen.

His latest mindbender today,"We're gonna kick start our season"....Priceless...
