Is anyone else concerned that we have potentially a team of dwarves next season? We really are lacking in the height department and then I read an article yesterday quoting Billy Davies a saying if Mckenna had been 3 inches taller he'd have played his entire career in the Premier League. Even more reason why, while he's with us, we should be utilising Oli.
This was obvious for most of last season. Hobbs will help and so will Adebola. It does worry me though we didn't concede too many goals from set pieces. Besides, when we went away to Millwall, we were a reasonably big team and we got murdered in the air!
Fundamental problem with the English game, if they played football like it should be played on the floor it wouldn't matter, it's only when you play hoofball you need the hight. As Long as we have tall CB and we have Hobbs we should be fine as long as we aim to play a good passing game.
Absolute garbage. Spain's U21's exposed us from a set piece last week. Set pieces are a massive part of football, regardless of how the game is played in open play. Honestly, people who think everyone outside of England play like Barcelona are morons.
Barcelona score their fair share with the head also. Look at the goal which won them the title a remarkable Seydou Keita header!
