Morning everyone. Just thought I would share what Charlie wyett had to say on Twitter this morning for those who didn't read it. According to him, the biglia deal is dead after the signing of Tettey, but the more interesting part was were looking at one of 2 strikers from the Premier league. Very interesting, I'm certainly hoping that John guidetti would be one of them!
Depending on who it is though.... I can think of 2 PL strikers that will not feature for their club this season and I do not fancy either of them - Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell.
Don't see us being interested in either of them two, to be honest. Have to say, even though I don't want it or think it will happen, I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Owen turned up here this week.
I cannot see it being either of them, both will be go back to their old clubs I would say. JB is clearly not good enough for this league, to be fair Campbell lost his way going to QPR like a lot of players will do but I still wouldn't want him here. How about the other Campbell (Frazier), he might be an option but his injury record would be concern!
i know, but to be honest he doesnt usually tweet about players being linked unless theres some substance behind it! James Nursery said that Hughton wanted John Guidetti last summer at Brum so hopefully theres something in that one
His loan move last season was not so hot. I know that does not strictly mean he would be no good again but it is not a name that fills me with glee tbh.
Can't see it happening as we already have two powerful six foot plus strikers. We need a forward with some pace and technique.
please get Guidetti on a permanent deal, he will become an exceptional player from all i have seen and heard.
