What a stupid OP. How many teams have gotten relegated from the Prem and had "a season" in the Championship? In case its slipped your mind last time we thought that, we had 15 seasons in the f*cking thing. If you go back over the 20 years of the Prem, I'd say that the percentage of teams to bounce right back up would be less than 10%. Are you taking those drugs again Cerny?
The prem is 50% dross, the Championship is 90%> I hate it, despite the romance of away games in Hull and Barnsley. And ****ing Millwall.
Assuming the club stayed afloat financially, there are plenty of benefits to being in the Championship or even lower for the matchgoing fan: cheaper tickets, more games, more wins and generally more of a laugh.

I hate it too. You're right Stan. The PL has been rubbish this year. But nothing compares to the dreadful standard of the NPC. Its truly awful. I'd never take it away from the boys who got us up a couple of years ago but even that season, half the games we played we were sh*te. We just bludgeoned the opposition into submission. I don't know if I could take another lengthy spell in that hackball, hatchetman's excuse for a league. God knows what the long-suffering ST holder's would do!

Fully agree with you on that (Millwall aside). Still have bad memories of visits to the Old Den from over 40 years ago.
In all seriousness though, I think you just might sneak it. One shock result in your next two, and all of a sudden the teams that have written you off will be within reach.
