A twist on Shakespeare, would the current Liverpool manager still be in a job if his name was any other than Dalglish?

    Worst home record since 1953.

    I don't think so.

cannot believe they have spent over 80m on Downing, Carroll, Henderson and Adam

4 very ordinary footballers and Dalgleish signed them all if as you say it had been anyone else they would of been forced out of the club after those transfers and in the position they are in.

No, he would not. good bloody point.

Hodgson, for a very good manager, was treated like **** by Liverpool and disgracefully.

They were too good for him, apparently, and wanted KK. someone who probably had a lot to do with the machinations behind the scenes.

Well, they got their just deserts. with knobs, cherries & wigan on top.

**** 'em, bin dippin' ********. A team and club i used to respect as a kid growing up, but that was a long time ago.

i hope we do their more respectable blue brothers Tuesday and then them lot on the 14th. it's about time.

Adam was very highly rated last year at Blackpool and did very well. Maybe he's not the Liverpool class of the 70's and 80's and we all know Jordan wasn't ready to step up to Liverpool, he would have been better served back at Sunderland. Carroll was good at Newcastle but Liverpool rarely play to his abilities. Downing seems to be played all over the shop by Liverpool whereas Villa always played him on wing.

Anyway. Onwasrd and upwards for us! I can see no reason why we shouldn't finish above Liverpool and dump them out the cup! IF WE CAN BEAT EVERTON!

After the way they treated a very, very experienced and credible coach like Hodgson, because they thought they were 'too big' for him AND because of fat ignorant scouse ****s like mickey quinn, I'd really like to see Liverpool come tumbling down. That and the Suarez and especially Dalglish episodes.

Arrogance without foundation, Liverpool are yesterdays football club. I'd love to pass them by both in the league and the Cup.

It has to be said, "you reap what you sow". Serves them right too, self confident bastardos. They have always had this arrogant attitude and with no real reason at least not for the last 20 years. Admittedly they have a fantastic history, but it is just that History.

I would like to see them become a perennial mid table team, might teach them a bit of humility. Their team is very average and in Suarez they have one of footballs most despised individuals.

"Knowledgeable" scousers got rid of Hodgson at Liverpool before he had a chance to establish himself. I would take him for England before Redknapp.

If they don't win the cup and for obvious reasons I hope they don't even reach the final and their league form doesn't improve I think it is more than possible they will have a new manager for next season.

No is the answer, and if this form continues even the most thick skinned won't keep him....

But how-ever much you want to knock them, it's a fact they are major players in world football...

They are up in terms with Man U...............And you can forget the Arsenals and Chelsea's they are still second division in appeal to the scousers....

Even though they havn't done much for years, the Liverpool brand is still strong.
