    Arsene knows best!!!

    Last year, almost everyone was screaming about our need to buy a GK.

    "Wenger is a fekkin idiot and needs to buy <insert gk name here> or we're doomed"
    "All our GK's are ****e"
    "What is wrong with Wenger. Why can't he see we obviously need a GK?"

    What are all you armchair managers saying about Chesney now?

    Keep the faith and remember just who the professional football manager is!

    PAH - if that was the case:

    a) why did he play Almunia for so long ?
    b) why did he play Fabianski for so long ?

    Answers were .. because Szchezney (sp?) wasn't ready/good enough at the time so calls for a keeper were quite right.

    Szcezesny was on a season long loan at Brentford the season before without a recall option so there was nothing we could do then. Also, I think that experience was invaluable for him in gaining confidence and experience - he was certainly great there as I saw him play a few times (live just down the road). Last year we started with Fabianski who I believe was awesome right up until he got injured. Enter a confident Szcezesny and boom.

    As an aside, weren't people calling for Almunia to get an England call up a few seasons ago on the back of a solid season?! I'd like to put in I personally wasn't but it's funny how quickly people forget.

    our 'professional' football manager is selling all our best players and either not replacing them or buying embryos.

    Fabregas
    Nasri
    Clichy
    Eboue

    all gone not replaced

    First off, Clichy and Eboue were not two of our best players.

    Secondly, we've replaced Eboue with Jenkinson which I was sceptical of initially but am actually very pleased. We've also signed Gervinho who I see as a direct replacement for Samir and am also encouraged by. Time will tell if they're both good enough but early signs are very encouraging.

    Clichy I admit we do need cover for and have been banging on about this for ages along with the rest of you and Arsene himself has said he's after new midfielders to replace Cesc and is actively searching for new players. I'm sure we'll get some new blood in soon.
