As quite a few of the players that got us to the Prem will probably get their P45's in the summer, along with some other legends from down the years (Rowland's, Cook, Big Dan etc) do you think the board would be open to the idea of giving them some kind of a team testimonial? And more than that, do you, the fans, think you'd be interested in going to the game? Maybe play it as the old boys against the new first team, with players still in the first teams plans, Adel and Ali if fit, playing a half for each team?
If we're already safe by the last game of the season I'd like to see us field a team of players who are out of contract and due to be released. As a mini testimonial and to confirm we're making the right decision. I'd imagine we'd get walloped.
A nice idea but I doubt anything would come of it. Who knows though if people feel strongly about it can always make the proposition to Fernandes over Twitter. Dead cheap tickets give Adel completely free rein and let the old boys score some rockets. Sounds like a great day out!

Think i read somewhere that we have 20 squad players out of contract this summer. If thats true we could almost play two teams against each other. It also means that MH will have the nice situation of most of his dead wood going without him having to release them. It gives us a good chance to add proper depth to our squad over the summer. This is a real positive.
Yes, that's a grand idea, we should pit the best of the MH Eleven VS the NW Eleven and see what that would be like!!!!
