If we all knew Michu and Siggy's attributes etc before this season, and ML could only sign one of the two, for £2million, which would you sign.
Sorry, mate I haven't seen enough of Michu yet. If he keeps going the way he has over the next 6 or 7 games then he'll probably get the nod from me.
Siggy just shot on sight and did it pretty damn well. Michu however can shoot but will also look for the killer ball through to graham. When siggy signed Graham's goals dried up. That won't happen under michu. A much better all around attacking midfielder.
No problem, Ash. It's just a personal view. I don't think I've seen enough yet but others might disagree. The best I can say is that if Michu continues like he has he'll get my vote. I can't say that yet.
As mentioned, it is early days to compare the two. But I'm going for Michu, just think he has a better all round game compared to Siggy. See that Siggy was on the bench yesterday, does that mean Vertonghen will be the number one starter in that position?
I think Michu is going to work out for us, better than siggy maybe, I was worried at the time we were overspending on siggy I didn't think he was worth £6.8m and still don't think he is. Michu is going to prove the signing of the season, hope we got a £25m + selling on clause on his contract
Have a feeling over the season, it will be Michu. Works hard, tenacious, creative and a team player not a primadonna!
